My approach
My supervision style is reflective, collaborative, and grounded in contemporary, evidence-based practice. I work from trauma-informed, attachment-based, sex-positive, and neuroaffirming perspectives to support deep clinical thinking and careful work with complexity.

My background spans both public and private sectors, with experience across the lifespan. My earlier work focused on youth, families, and systems-based practice, which now informs my current focus with adults.

I have myself trained across multiple supervision pathways, initially completing the 4+2 internship program and later the Clinical Registrar Program. These experiences deeply shape how I hold supervision as I am attuned to the developmental realities, pressures, and ethical weight of training and ongoing practice.

Supervision is now a central part of my professional life and something I approach with care and passion. I supervise clinicians at all different stages of practice, from university students and provisional psychologists, through to experienced practitioners seeking to expand their work in sex-positive, relational, and trauma-informed spaces.

Modalities & Training
My areas of clinical focus include complex trauma, sexual shame and avoidance, intimacy and desire, attachment and relationship dynamics, nervous system regulation, and high-functioning burnout. I draw from attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed practice, relational frameworks, and sex therapy principles integrated within a broader psychological model.

My therapeutic training spans a range of evidence-based and relational models, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), CBT-E, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and DNA-V. I also hold training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2), which supports my work with relational dynamics and repair. Alongside this, I have completed extensive training in sexology and sexual wellbeing.

I am a board-approved supervisor and hold memberships with the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated and the Society of Australian Sexologists. I also enjoy writing and regularly contribute to Psychology Today and am the author of the Mindful Sex Guide.
