The Bare Approach · Shame

SHAME

Healing starts when we no longer have to hide.

What Stays Hidden Shapes Us

Bare (adj). Exposed, without covering; stripped back to its essentials.

Shame often sits underneath the things people first come to therapy for. It can live in the body as tension, numbness or a pressure to perform, and it quietly decides which parts of you feel safe to be seen.

When there’s a safe space to look beneath the surface, we can begin to understand what our symptoms are really telling us. Our work is about uncovering the story behind those symptoms, because what stays hidden shapes the way we live, love, and connect.

What to expect

Trauma informed by default

Safety, pacing, and consent guide every stage of the work.

Sex positive and identity affirming

Inclusive of LGBTQIA+, kink, and diverse relationship structures.

Neuro affirming and client-centred

Support that adapts to you, not the other way around.

A space where neurodiversity is celebrated, queerness is honoured, and your whole self is welcome.

You might be here because

No shame.
No judgement.

Just honest, open conversations. We slow things down, listen closely to your body, and work with the patterns shaping your relationships and your sense of self.

You don’t need a perfect story or a clear label to begin.
