The Bare Approach
Hey there, I’m Amy Campbell.
Clinical psychologist, sex therapist, board approved supervisor and author.
AS SEEN ON
Your Story Matters, Your Identity Matters
Sex positive psychology for the parts of intimacy you were never taught to name.
I support individuals and couples navigating intimacy that feels confusing, loaded with shame, or difficult to talk about.
At Bare Psychology, the work begins with slowing down enough to listen to what your body and patterns are actually saying, without pressure, performance, or fixing.
This is steady, evidence based therapy designed to help you feel more at ease in your body, clearer in your relationships, and more connected to yourself.
My Approach
My work is grounded in evidence based, trauma informed, and neuro-affirming practice. I train continuously so the work I offer stays ethical, current, and responsive to the real complexity of people's lives.
In my work I draw from
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
EMDR
Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT)
DBT informed practice
Gottman Method (Level 2)
With Additional Training In
Sexual trauma and recovery
Dyspareunia and anorgasmia
Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse
Eating disorders (FBT and CBT-e)
If you'd like to understand how these approaches might support you specifically, I'm always happy to talk it through.
